Stlca new years run will be Jan. 2nd and 3rd. same place as last year. This is an overnight expadition type trip. Trails are mostly mild with some hard core side trails.

If there is a group intrested in starting on the 1st, we may go in then and meet up with the rest of the group on Saturday as we did last year. Depending on who is going we may enter from the Jasper end or the Tracy City end.

I may be interested as well.

Ben you need to come back and show this place that you will not be scared away by little things like a broken axle.

Hmmm, this actually could be a good time, that is if you don't mind me crashing the party. Also depends on whether the wife goes to FL or not.

Edit: Count me out if Marius shows up though :flipoff2:

I'm interested in starting early again... is the Jasper end where we came out?

I hate to do a Chris, but I will not be able to make the ride. I have a bad ball joint and can't get it replaced until Jan 19. No it's not on my cruiser, it's my left hip, I have been hobbling around for a while thinking the pain in my leg was from my back issues but as it got worse we realized I had a bad hip joint. You all have a great time.

Sorry to hear that Roger, I hope they get you all patched up quickly. Maybe it's time for an auto trans and a wheelchair lift!

Anybody else up for starting on Friday? This place is too nice to only camp out for one night... don't be skeered :steer:

Sorry to hear that Roger. I hope everything works out OK. The trip wont be the same without SPOT :D. Someone will have to take up the slack and make fun of my driveing all weekend.

Oh, I'm sure someone will step up to the plate, Andy. he-he-he ;)

Roger, I hope it all works out smoothly. Nothing like upgrade opportunities, eh?

We've still got this on the calendar, but not until Saturday AM. We too will be recovering in ATL on Friday. Possibly camping depending on the weather - cold, OK, cold and wet, not OK.

Roger,
Sorry to hear the news. Take care and may you have a very speedy recovery (there are a lot of TLCA events to reward a full recovery with).

Also, if you are going to follow in Chris' steps you will need to post a very detailed thread on your hip and recovery ... followed by never being seen at STLCA/TLCA/SWFDA meeting or event.

Take care of yourself. With the extra time until the 19th, you can specify your care packages in advance. That could be worth a little entertainment value.

Guys this sounds like a blast! I just can't deal with the cold like I used to though. Take good pics!

Rob is helping me build a FJ60/62 with a auto, and he has discussed the option of a hydraulic lift mounted to the roof rack.:)

Call Bob at TPI, he may want to go in Friday but he does not due forums often 615-826-8854.

Thanks all for the support.

Roger I hope that your hip starts feeling better.

I am going to do my best to make it, though it will be cold. I am not wheeling my truck this go round since I have a laundry list of stuff that needs to be done.

I hope everyone is doing well and had a Merry Christmas.
