Thanks to eveyone who came out. This was without a doubt the largest group we've had on a NYR and i dare say it will be the most memorable. Dont forget to check/change all your fluids soon, water that deep has a way of getting into places it doesnt belong.

Speaking of where things don't belong.........was you able to remove the seat cover yet ?

I do believe we had a little of everything thrown at us this weekend . I will not forget this one , my water crossing card is fully punched out now . I really enjoy the weekend . Ted also had a good time on Sherwin-Williams , he had not one , not two , not three but four things go wrong at the same time .

Thank you Roger for the amazing breakfast and suppers . Thank to Andy & Ted for leading us out the flood . Thanks to Henry for bringing the entertainment ( sorry I missed your poem reading Saturday night ) .

Time to get ready for Mardi-Krawl !

I agree with all of the above, really good group of guys... The kids all did great, too, despite the long day Sunday. Killer chili, Roger! Oh, and that 80 pound bag of beer garbage I hauled on my roof the whole day Sunday made its way to a local gas station can (the small kind, lol)

^^ perty funny right there.

Hendog & Jimmy gots a little splainin' to do.

Not the deepest crossing but was the first really deep one.

You guys are my heroes! Any video of @ugamurph crawling across the hood?;)

I've got some great gopro vids, making one complete one to watch. Might take me a bit so stay tuned. Looks awesome so far

There is so much left out of this story so far. Saturday for instance, I slid winch deep into a mud hole and then got 3 more trucks stuck trying to get my junk out. Another, as Rocky eluded to above...sheering the 4 remaining hub studs on Sherwin Williams and the series of failures after, or Roger breaking his tranny Sunday night, or 2 swamped trucks in the last big crossing, or the fact it was snowing when we hit the top, or that we popped out 28 miles from Andy's shop, etc... etc... etc.

How about the Spindle fire, that happened after everyone wen to bed Sat night. FWIW, Bacardi really is flammable.

Did you get your headlights working, Jamie?

I haven't gotten that far yet. I'll need new bulbs, but first I have to take the housings off and get the water out of them. I'm working on the interior right now. I took the door panels off to let them and the door shells dry out. The seat cushions soaked up the water like a sponge. I'll be taking the seats apart so the foams can dry out. The carpet will come out completely so the carpet and pad can dry. I'm using electronics cleaner in all of the plugs that were submerged. This may be a winter-long project for me.

@rancesharp, Do you have any clean 01 4Runner seats and carpet in your stash of parts? [emoji6]

Holy :censor:, so much to process.... it sure sounds like a he!! of a trip. @ugamurph pulling the headlights... didn't we discuss that when we were talking about the bumpers? I hope you don't have to pull that heavy beast off to get them out.

damn, I was at the front of the line by this time and had no idea it was that swamped. Makes sense I suppose given where you died, hope it dries out quickly.

did anyone get pics or videos of that last crossing?

Yep. That beast will have to come off. If anyone near Smyrna has a motor lift, that would be helpful.

I got video of the recovery since I was behind him. If Jamie doesn't mind I'll post it. @ugamurph

Jacob, I was going to ask if you had video of it. Post away. I'd like a copy for myself too. Is it small enough to email?

Dang. So was your interior completely submerged? And you had to climb on to the hood?

Interior wasn't completely submerged, but it did get up to the seat cushions. I had to crawl out on the hood to hook Hunter's winch cable to the bumper.

Here is the vid I got. Only 30 seconds long and started after you were done dancing around on the hood. At the point where the video starts, you had already gone through the deep part.

Hey Jamie, I have a cherry picker in the garage that you are welcome to borrow. I can throw it in the back of Betsy and bring it down for you to use at your leisure if you have somewhere to park it. Probably be Sunday before I could get it dug out. Just let me know.

I don't have anything for a 4R Jamie. I wish I did. Pull a part had a pretty good looking 96 4R there a week ago. Not sure what all is interchangeable.
