My poor hand held if floating down that river some where. It bounced right out my window during trip back up that long crossing the 2nd time.

That sucks. What kind was it? I'm in the market for one after seeing you guys use those vs. cb's. Looks like some cheap options out there (Baofeng), but maybe you get what you pay for with those.

It was just the cheap $40 one from amazon so no real loss.

Finished taking the interior out.

It hasn't been a total loss. I found exactly $1 in change under the front passenger seat. Along with about a quart of creek water.

Maybe he had his floaties on ...

Checked all fluids , to my surprise there was no water in any fluids ( except radiator ) . Plus the carpet is dry inside not sure how this happen but I am happy , happy , happy . I did find my brake issue , the rear steel braided brake hose is kinked at the axle end . I got new hose and solid transfercase mounts on the way . I am draining and refilling all fluids any way .
