Ok so I know its very early... but this will be the first time I'm back on the island in quite a while so I want to make sure it happens!

I propose that in club tradition (at least from before/while I was a member) we go on a club snow run new years day!

Gentle wheeling, dress for snow, and feel free to bring a hangover! (and or a friend)

Who's in?

Snow? Fawk that. :flipoff2:

Might have to do a solo snow run over here.

Prospecting for oil n' gas camp work for the winter

I try to avoid winter 'snow runs', usually involves going 2-3 kms, winching and yanking of trucks, swearing and drinking
really cold beer.

Ok, so long as there is a big fire as well, I'm in.

Im in if the cruiser is back together by then

Good to see you back; was wondering what happened to you. Last we heard you were on your way to Mexico; was half wondering if you made it back ok. Hows the rig running?

X2

I'd ride along for a snow wheel. Work has slowed down and I have time these days which is nice. Perhaps Ill hop in with Ryan seeing as he's soooooo keen on going. :flipoff2:

HA yes made it back, then life has been busy. Rig runs great and was great in Mexico. The stuff I drove on with stock tires makes a guy wonder why I'd ever need to upgrade. Air down, 4-lo, and anything seemed possible. But it was mostly just sand... Fuel consumption was about 14 L/100km on the trip with 9,000 lbs total weight (3k front axle, 4k rear axle, 2k trailer axle). Fuel consumption since home has averaged 9.8 L/100km.

Right on! Sounds like it all worked out perfect; as it should given how well thought out your truck is. Amazing fuel economy. I get about 2L/100km worse than you under the same circumstances. IDI sucks. :bang:

Perfect Idea....

You just stand out on the highway, bright and early , and I'll be by to pick you up.

How do people like the idea of cowichan for this? These few days are turning into a s*** show for me. Including a bachelor party at tuck lake. Would be easier to make if I'm already up there :bang:

So guys, think there is any snow in the hills yet? I know we have some cold weather coming, but not sure if it will bring snow. Where should we have this run? I think the last one a couple years ago was west of Duncan. Anyone know the roads out there and any places we could go?
