Ok so since nobody else is decisive we will meet at 930 AM jan 1 at drinkwater timmies which is at the island highway and drinkwater road.

We will leave at 10 with whoever shows up. It'd still be nice if folks could post if they're coming so we have a rough idea of what to plan for.

Sounds great to me. I'll be there. I really don't know that area at all, or if it's even accessible. Anyone else know? I think we had to sign in and out on the last run.

I will be there. Not sure what state my truck will be in. Trying to get this FF installed, but...
Not sure if Rob will ride with me or get his own out for the day

If no one knows about Duncan area accessibility and areas to go, maybe we should stick to Sooke area? Wondering if we should just meet in Sooke, and hit some of the areas we know? Could get up into Tugwell area, or go to North Main (which goes to 1000m plus elevation). If the area north of bear creek reservoir is open, that is another option that will get us to high elevation?

Geez, I was liking the Duncan idea. Haven't been on Mt Sicker or out Cowichan way in a while. I'm not sure what
Toshi had in mind.

I'm about a 40% maybe for cowichan, and a -40% for sooke....

Ok, so maybe it's more like 20% and -1000%, but I haven't figgered it out exactly...

I'm all for Duncan area if someone can take responsibility and lead the way. :meh:

take responsibility :meh:

I went looking for a "there's your problem" picture...this one is just too awesome not to post...

Wont be able to make it... cruiser isnt quite road worthy yet unfortunately

Happy New Year all! My kids happily woke me at 6:30 this morning. :bang:

See you guys in a couple hours. :steer: I've got some dry firewood I'll bring along.

I'm at home, waiting for Rob to show here to ride in convoy. We are coming, might be a bit late.
Ya know, BJ42 speed.....

Turned out to be a great day! Good turn out with four cruisers and three guest rigs. Headed up Copper Canyon, played around on old mine tailings, checked out a couple nice trails. Couple inches of snow, cool with sun. Beautiful day. Only mishap was when Graham's BJ70 slid sideways on the super slick main road; thanks to Jon and Rob for the quick and safe recovery. Thanks everyone who participated, and Happy New Year. Great to meet you Stephen; thanks for organizing this run.

I've got some pics I'll post up when I get a chance, hopefully others can post some pics too (Stephen?).
