I'm out... I've decided to go back to school, so between tuition/books and the extra house I have that won't sell, the $$$ is kinda tight right now. Y'all have a good time!

Well yawl........it was cold.
It was muddy.
IT WAS GREAT......even though I dented my rig.
But I made it:D
Thanks Roger for putting this together & Todd for bringing food:clap:

If you got the 60 and the 100 past that off-camber into the tree (where Roger is pictured), you did a great job to come away with that limited damage. Braging where damage is involved never seems right, but my hats off to you.

The tree was not where it came from.....I think the trail was called "beer run".......:whoops:

Funny thing is I made it most of the way up it.....then as I tried to climb the final ledge...I rolled back allowing the bumper to not hit the rock & then quarter panel paid the price.

(oddd enough......entered the trail & had a few folks with us....look up when I got to the hard section-dam there was :eek:50 people standing above me :steer:

After the dent....Todd winched me off the rock & I finished the trail:clap:

Guess after 5+ years of wheeling it was bound to happen.

Looks like a great time. Sorry I couldnt make it...I was recovering from to much  in front of my tv watching football.

Went wheeling a couple times over the holidays up at Aetna and managed to bust my exhaust system mounts (tailpipe is laying on the drive shaft (now being held off of it by a dog chain) and ripped my air intake plenum...also took a small dent in the DS rocker (need to get those damn sliders installed!!!).

Hoping to make the 1/18 ride...

Always the photographer and never the photographed...this is the best one I got of my rig...

That was Will He Make It trail and Clutchee winched out :)before he got to the trees and Marius was smart enough not to try it with his 100.
Roger

Had a blast as usual....did more body damage then usual, but oh well, at least nothing mechanical to fix!

Thanks to all who showed up! Hope to see the rest of you fawkers at the MLK run...Think I'm gonna get the half doors done for that one. Even if I can't get them welded up in time, I'll just slap some pipe insulation over the raw edges and call it good :D

Anyone got more pics, I only had the one of Clutchee flipping me off...

You all could have left me believing. Regardless; the picture that Chutchee posted showing the ledge and rock where his 60 was bruised, looked like a very tough obstacle (& they always look easier in the pictures) to get the front end of a stock looking 60 over. I am still impressed and now scared, because I am a little wimp that stays on the Tellico 'bunny trails' with my open diffs and I may be surrounded by big wolves (big dogs ain't big enough) at Royal Blue.

Thanks Larry but honestly.....I was in a difficult trail for "my" rig.:hhmm:

You have no worries about Royal Blue.....after paying to have this fixed I will be rethinking a trail looking to difficult.

Guess wheeling is like other things.....just keep pushing & one day something happens.

Hey no worries.....I dented my rig doing what I LOVE.....better than having some drunk hit me:o

thanks you all it was fun
just need to wash truck and get sliders done
ill be there 18- jan

Sweet Pics.... Looking forward to a ride myself... just need to get a few things done, to the FJ, and then a few things to the Buggy... No time and I am a wimp, since I have no real heat...

Steve is that Aetna?
