17 months. Wow. My wife keeps joking me that at my current rate it'll 15 years before we can take it wheelin'. :)

It would be a good dose of inspiration to see your pig up and running in a year and a half. Good Luck!

What do you mean? I can't get the screws loose as of now. Can you go into greater details?

It might be good if I can post some pics from the FSM...

You need a big-a$$ Phillips screwdriver from sears or other, seat the screwdriver and then whack it w/ your sledge to seat it and to jar the fastener. Before you go get the screwdriver from Sears, douse the fasteners in PB Blaster.

In the FSM, I think they show blocking the hinge open with a piece of wood (huh-huh, I said "wood") to keep the torsion bar from closing the hinge on you.

That would be awesome! I've tried and currently am soaking them. Tried heating them up too and can't get them to budge. I haven't hit them with a hammer yet but I'll try that once you post the pictures with the wood block.

Is there a place I can get a paper or digital copy for myself?

I got mine from the dealer - do you know of Cruiser Dan?

My manual can't take being laid on the scanner too many more times...

Started body work! pulling dents is an art that i do not have my learning curve started out as a straight line but now its slowly moving up. made two changes in plans first that tailgate is staying on. Guessing i'm going to have to cut off the huge dent in it and take it to a guy that can bend a new piece. second is body is still on frame, until i'm done with replacemt panels.

Sorry to hear the tailgate is giving you grief.
One recommendation, take body off, do your media blasting, remount with new body mounts, and do your panel replacement - that way everything lines up...
