Lol. Little late for sure.

Got the tub back last sat. from blasting and priming then spent the week doing body work. Colour is picked and a few parts have already been sprayed.... No pics yet tho.

Did the bottom and inside of the tub in bed liner as well as the inside of the tail gate and all of the front fenders. Painted a million and one primed parts black which was fun.....

Body should get its exterior colour/protective coating this week hopefully.

Well, with some help from a couple friends I managed to get the tub and all the body panels coated in colour matched hippo liner. I need a bigger garage man, I felt like I was playing tetris with 40 body panels trying to find a spot for everything. Got er done though.

After adding the pigment and hardener to the liner we experimented with thinner and settled on 10%/batch. Used the recommended thinner but ended up using a little more to get the stuff to spray nicer. Shot it out of my primer hlvp gun with a 2.3 mm tip and it went on smoother than expected and actually looks damn good. Nowhere near as bumpy and rough as the other tinted liners Ive seen. Waiting for it all to dry now, sprayed it on thursday and it was just ever so slightly tacky when I checked it after work last night. Instructions say to wait 24h before handling so I figure it should be good to grope when I get home tonite.

Havent had time to uplink any pics but ill try to get on it later today if time permits and photobusket doesnt feel like being a jerk....

The short version of what I consider "body work".

Besides the seam sealer and minute amounts of filler on/around the tub the only place that has any significant amount of filler is the front lower 1/4 of the drivers side fire wall. After having to bend the door pillar back out (the tub had been hit there at some point) and reattaching all of the pinch welds where the floor board meets the 1/4 that spot ended up looking disproportionately worse compared to the rest of the tub so I massaged it a bit with a skim coat then sanded the living s*** out of it. I didnt want to use much if any filler so most of it came off and just the really bad dings were ironed out.

Bottom/inside of the tub are done in gator guard using a shutzszz gun and the outside is capri blue hippo liner. Painted under the hood and the backs of the aprons capri blue but just used regular paint. The w/sh hinges, hood hinges, hood spear and latches are black and the bezel is cryowhatever white.

Yup, details are a bitch, but giving them the attention they need is what sets rigs like yours apart from the rest. Looking sweet Bro!

Got a bunch of stuff put together, 85% of the brake lines are done, clutch line done, e brake hooked up... Found out my new tire and rim combo dont clear the ps tie rod end dammit. 36x13.5x15 iroks on 15x8x3.5 bs steelies, gonna stack washers tomorrow till i clear it and figure out what bs would work. Thinking 2.5" bs 8" wide rim might work.

Bit of crap done last week. Got a windshield cut and put in, reused the old gasket after cleaning it up a bit and it worked out mint. Centre console got locks and seals as did the stoosh box under the seat. My buddy hooked me up with locks that are all keyed the same so one key fits all. New rims went on 15x8 rockcrawler d rings with 2.5 bs. Tires now clear the calipers tier rod and radius arms with room to spare so thats good..... All the dash switches got cleaned and freshened up. Extended ss brk lines finally came in so now I can finish the front off.

Besides more painting and whatnot thats about it.

Out in the garage till 400 am sunday and all day monday. Got the throttle cable and choke hooked up as well as the heater valve (cleaned painted installed). My T for the bottom rad hose was rotting away and had some pin holes so I cut out the threaded boss and welded it to a new schedule 10 piece of pipe then primed and painted it. Bunch of interior crap got painted and installed as well.

Yesterday we got the doors and windshield on. W/sh seal at the firewall was a pain but we got it to fit good and were able to get the windshield snugged up. Put on the custom pop up knight rider led light in the firewall vent and surprisingly it fits works and most importantly clears the w/sh when its folded down....

Ordered a cool little shark motor bike stereo for it. Has a tiny amp and 2 speakers 600w. Also has blueteeth whatever that is and usb and sd slots and is water proof. Hope it works okay.

Probably more crap done but I lost track....

Gonna hit the roll cage this weekend so hoping that goes good.
