I'm here in Austin as well. You gotta let me check those out once you get up and running. I love my ToughDogs, but they are approaching 70k now and soon enough will need replacing.
Sounds good to me, if we're ever allowed out of the house again.
I've got a buddy in the area who is adding a 99 LC to his collection in the next week. It'd be great to get some advice/check out your rig over beers, etc.
Definitely should get together once this whole mess passes. I have plenty of beer to go around!
Can I join? I’m ready to get out of the house and somewhere off the pavement with my LC
I’m in SMTX and a new owner of a 2000 LC. I’ll be looking to replace my socks soon !
Later this week, I was able to get them shipped at $170eaAny updates? Feedback?

Does anyone have part numbers on these? Bilsteins site isn't showing them for me.

Those socks must be pretty ripe by now, I hope you’ve changed them!
My only previous suspension experience is with first gen Tacomas. Word on the street at that time was Bilsteins are rubbish and I never even considered them for that reason. If that turns out to be wrong it’ll be great news to have another option for 100 series. Keep us all posted.
a cheap minitruck and a land cruiser are not comparable. Bilstein makes multiple lines of shocks so I dont know how an entire brand can be discounted simply by "street word" when its one of the more highly regarded brands out there.. The cheapest yellow colored line of shocks were the ones having issues breaking at the weld but they apparently fixed that. I'll take the silver 5100 series shock over almost any other non resi shock out there. I've run then on 3/4 trucks, jeeps, broncos etc and they have all been exceptional. Those socks must be pretty ripe by now, I hope you’ve changed them!

installed some bilstein 5160's with ome springs and over all I'm pleased I have yet to get any trail time but on the street with E load duratracs not bad, shocks are semi soft but handling is fine with some rake . Coming from AHC im disappointed to say the least but budget played a big role here.
Rear shocks are slightly longer than AHC and fronts are the same.
Poser shot with unnecessarily cranked torsion bars
