Here's a picture of the rear vent, it surrounds the marker light. Baffles run through to the interior.

Nice vents! But the rear vents were only on the later model years. Looks like '69-''71 only had the front and rear marker lights. Vents were added to the rear markers from '75 (?) on?

I'm not sure what year the rear vents started, but yeah ours don't have them.

I would make sure that is a fj55 steering column before you decide on that steering wheel. -Steve

Looks clean without the marker lights and/or the fender lights.

Since you purchased that way, unless going for a resto, I'd say leave it be.... I wanted to do the same, but can't bring myself to. Easy decision, in your case and it won't cost you a fair entry.

Agreed. I'd also keep the auto, unless problems develop. Nice truck!
