Ron; great work, BTW, there is a hulk with a decent roof last time I looked at it up hiway 216 off the Abernant exit going towards Brookwood on the right side of the road; had looked at taking the roof off in the past for "eventhough" you might check it out, good luck;

ya, he told me I could have it for 250. No axles under it and he wants the motor and I have to pull it for him, plus drag it out of the woods on its frame.

Got a free Ramsey 8k winch. gotta make a bumper and mount. Also had a guy come by and let him have a 40 I didnt have time to work on for $3500. He gave me a hundred bucks to hold it for him.Had it here on mud for $4500 but got tired of looking at it. I kept the new tires for my pig though.

Well I drained the tank and pulled it today. Washed the mess out of it and got about a cup of rust out. Called the parts houses and found one that carried the tank sealer kit. He then told me he closed a 1 o`clock, looked at my watch and it was 12:50 . Guess I ,ll have to wait till monday now. At least it should be right when it goes back up and I shouldnt have to pull it again.

Lookin' good!!! While the tank is off do you mind snapping a picture of that vent system you've got going? I searched all over the internet for a picture of the "old chevy vent system" and couldn't find one... Thanks!

Sorry, Tank went in this morning. Basiclly all the lines going to the cannister are capped except one which goes to the rear above the tank. Ill take o pick of my motor home since its easier to see. Or a simpler way is to plug em all except the out and return and put a vented cap on. Ive done 4 cruisers and havent had any problems. But we have no smog laws or inspection here.

Progress!! Tank is in and all plumed up. Took the carb off and apart and cleaned the crud out. Poured a couple of gallons in the tank and got it running. Drove to the gas station and put more gas in and drove around for a while and she runs great! Going to put some miles on it tommorow for a longer shake down run. So far Im tickled Pig Pink with how it runs.
