Nice! What size batteries are you running?
Interstate 27f purchased at the same time, I have killed so many deep cycle batteries I don’t trust them (optima to be specific.)

I have a group 24 in mine and the size difference is huge. I'm thinking of buying an Interstate from Costco.

Yah I got mine for like 70 bucks each at Costco and the guy waived my core charge. They fit perfect. I almost went with one reg and one marine dual purpose battery but they didn’t have any in stock. What dual battery system do you have or is it home made. I have not set up my second battery yet.

No dual battery setup just yet. Doing some research., but was looking at this: 1993-97 80 Series Land Cruiser Dual Battery Kit

Thinking 27F + AGM for accessories, but not sure if I should mix different battery types?
Yah I was looking at the same kit looks solid and he is a mud member. Wish it had some reviews. Lots of thoughts on this I agree with using new batteries but really it should not matter brand or type or size. As long as they are hooked up with good quality cables and charged adequately than all should be well. Some will argue and maybe that are right. This is my first dual battery set up (besides the dodge 5.9) and I will post up what I do and the performance.

So got my dual battery’s hooked up with the kit from @LC4LIFE awesome kit $$ but you definitely get what you pay for. Wires are huge and it has everything you need to install. Feedback was awesome also.

Also finally fixed the driver seat with new gears from gamviti, you think we could get some metal gears made so these would not wear out. It’s a pain to get them onto the shaft.

Love seeing the updates and all the great work being done here. Funny I linked your thread to my niece and she keeps me posted of the progress lol

she flies back to NC this week and we may just have to go see about a replacement policy...... with pesky dodge protection device already installed ;)

So the Slee reap bumper got sold, it was to much hassle opening up the swing out every time I needed to get in the rear, waiting for my 4x4 labs with no accessories.

In the mean time I got a bowfin rack ordered and metal tech sliders with the money from the Slee bumper sale. Also installed the hurricane tailgate storage.

Just waiting on the metal tech sliders and bowfin rack. Also ordered a 2” lift from iron man, will
Do a write up on that when it comes in.

Removed roof rack for incoming bowfinn rack and not sure where to go from here 3 out of the 8 screws came out for the rack and all of them came out for the spoiler but the left spoiler is rusty. Thinking I’ll step bit out the nutserts and tap down the sheet metal grind clean and steel stick. Primer and paint and have some rough looking spots! Any ideas or help I’ll take suggestions. I’m not a body man but willing to give anything a shot. I could maybe do all the prep work and have a shop spray the areas? Not looking to repaint the whole roof or tailgate.

I've enjoyed your updates. I have a white 97 (since 2003) with 185K, very few mods. I like the Slee short bus bumper. Looks good.

If you did a brake job, don't forget to bleed the LSPV. Mine had some corrosion and it had me chasing poor braking problems. I took apart the ABS module so I could clean the reservoir, reassembled, then flushed it. Also replaced the master cylinder, booster, brake lines, etc., but it think replacing the LSPV that did the trick. It brakes good enough to kick in the ABS on dry pavement now.

You are doing a lot of mods that I am planning, so thanks again for posting.

Good luck, the truck looks great.

Got the headliner out and most of the old stripes of, not a bad job at all took me 45 to get out the headliner with a helper. Getting the old double sticky tape is the ass pain I’m using a heat gun and then a clay bar followed by some goof off. After it’s welded up and painted I will give it a good cut and polish than seal/wax. Should be good for another 24 years.
