next go around, got all my ducks lined up to put back together. And would like to drive for the weekend on a little adventure.
 
Got my valve cover back looks good
I think, also got a 600ftlb torque wrench for that bolt, got o ring on dizzy replaced, new cap and rotor also. Will hopefully be back together this weekend.

New spark plug seals, pvc valve hurt my back like a old man so if I heal up this sat will be a productive day. Also put on 1 fz sticker anybody see what’s wrong?

Going back together slowly sanded down the raised letters i think it looks a lot better. Maybe paint them black one day.

I am putting the belts back on and have run into a problem the torque spec for the idler alternator pulley is 32ftlbs but when I tighten it to the the pulley has no free spin ????? Am I missing something?

Supposed to be a shouldered bolt. Is the bolt through it backwards? Not really sure it can be installed backwards.

Did you miss a spacer?

I took the pulley of with spacers and bolt retention ring and set it down and installed same way and it doesn’t spin if I tighten it to spec?

Got the exhaust manifolds back on and heat shields it looks pretty sick with the gray and new oem hardware. Still unsure about the tensioner pulley for alternator do I even need it? Hopefully my new radiator hoses come this weekend so I can finish the coolant system flush and go for a drive. Also got that dam bypass hose under the plenum replaced that was a son of a gun to get off!

So the beast is back in action running really good and engine bay looks like like someone cares. I went through 4 coolant flushes with distilled water and finally got clear coming out. Got some more parts on order mostly hoses for charcoal canister. Also had to order a new alternator tensioner pulley. For now I’m gonna drive it a for the week. The little I do drive I have a work truck so my vehicles only get used on beer runs or weekend adventures.

So I may be overthinking this but all that is holding the winch on is 4 bolts to the @sleeoffroad bumper. Am I supposed to have a mounting plate or just direct mount to the bumper, Slee’s directions did not cover winch install.
 
Think I will order Slee’s black fairlead not really digging the chrome .
I love Factor55 stuff ;)

Mine is mounted to the shortbus too. It holds. Ive tested It many of times. She strong
