Thanks @Saddletramp for the intro. My 80 series is my second Land Cruiser. I previously had an '83 FJ60. I've have my 80 since 2021.
The PO rescued it from abandonment in Aspen, CO where it sat for a few years with a blown head gasket. He rebuilt the motor, axles, regeared to 4.88's and threw in a pair of Harrup e-lockers. He also put a 2.5" OME lift, 35's, 4x4labs front and rear bumpers, and a bunch of other things- overall nicely done. I wheeled it in western CO and UT before moving to the valley in 2023.
Tilly (Matilda when she's giving me a hard time with something), as she's known now, is in the midst of version 2.0 re-fit. I recently had the springs replaced with Dobinson heavy springs, new roof rack, and am setting it up for a do-all overland rig.
254k miles in the clock and still going strong!
