I would be curious if there is a difference in the seat foam between the Lexus and Land Cruiser. I am under the impression that there is a difference.

As far as I can tell the Lexus seat foam is more finished and softer. The Toyota foam appears to be heat set and a touch firmer. The foam is more rigid with a harder shell to it on the Toyota version if that makes sense.

The seat foam was about $500. I picked them up from Larry Miller Toyota

The shape of the pad is also slightly different due to the difference in the pleating in the center panels between the 450 and the 80.

In order to get the cover to "lay-in" properly you would need the pad that matches the pattern of the cover.

The new leather from Shane has the two pleats so it should work out well. That is good information Dan, thank you. I didn't know that, I figured it was new vs old.

The Cruiser covers have a small flat space inbetween the panels and the 450 covers butt togther without the flat space. Your pattern should use the more "butt-friendly" Lexus foam.....

Started working on the new leather. A door and the armrest. I was going to gather the leather but decided to keep it smooth.

Yes he does, I love the exterior mods and the LED conversion.,

Will leather fit with cloth seat foam?

And my 80 it used where it never is any cooler then 70 and most the time 80's what do your guys think leather going to be hot and sticky? Or the cloth cooler. I try not to use the A/C until it gets hot out.
