Well on July 5th i took ownership of this 55 from an older gentle man who had owned it for the last 14yrs. prior to him; the other owner could no longer bare to own it as it always reminded him of his dog that had passed away. Originally a Californian truck and it seems pretty solid. A swapped 2F motor with a 4spd some time ago.
It needs a bit of work like they all do. i haven't decide on doing a full restoration yet but its on my mind.(need to get that approved by the boss)
Love taking it to breakfast and the local car shows..constant attention which i'm sure all of you get.
Will update this when i do new things..She really hasn't earned her name yet..
flooded it twice as this is my first carb'd truck and honestly i love fuel injection :rofl: like my 80 well here's some pictures!

well fixed both door handles one drivers side outdoor and passenger interior..the blower motor was not coming on so..decided to tear into it and added some under the hood BLING :hillbilly: time for new motor or a whole box seems like its not original to my 73? will refoam and seal it better

yeah that resistor is why it isn't running...I got a close valued resistor off of mouser.com, but can't remember the value... there are threads in this forum that document those things tho, so a search should return some useable info on it.

it does look like a later blower box.

the interior looks great. you got any more pics of it?

the 2F and 4 spd is a great combo
 
Well my friend and I pulled the motor apart cleaned it and it's working...would still like to buy a new one anyway.. The rear heater needs the same thing but I don't think il play with it this year...
I'll see if I got more interior pictures..new seats are soon in line... For the front as well as all new interior panels
 
what are your plans for the existing interior panels? If your intent is to sell them, can I be placed on the list of possible buyers?
 
Got both rear and passenger rear door cards done.. cigarette outlet and dome light took a dump getting intermittent power to the dome I think I need a new cig lighter


OH she got her name today..Betty since I'm always saying she better start after I flooded it twice and it needed to sit for a while..

I have new cards cut, just need the vinyl to cover them. Lmk if you'd part with the front door panel covers/ or panels complete... thanks!
