I just got my 2000 LC running. I bought it a few weeks ago. I want a 2 or 3 inch lift, and I'm putting a steel bumper on the front (and maybe back), but I don't want it uncomfortably stiff. I'd much rather buy individual pieces online than pay out the butt from a shop. What pieces do I need? Someone said I don't need springs in the back, but I saw someone else saying that they got them.

Should I do the "nitro sport" shocks front and back? are those too stiff to still be a comfy ride? Do I need an OME torsion bar too? Is there a specific one? What about springs?

Also, where would be the cheapest/safest place to buy? Same question for the ARB bullbat :)

Thanks in advance! Sorry for all the dumb questions.

Georg at Valley Hybrids also has a lot of great suspension systems available that are run over in harsh environments like Australia.

Make a budget and figure out how to get the best parts you can for that amount of money.

I'd look in this order.

Terrain Tamer
Slees custom shocks
OME
Bilstien
Procomp

Georg has some very sexy looking Terrain Tamer shocks that have me drooling
