Got a complete set off an 86. Which to me the black 85-86 grills looked better anyway than the 87+. Got it all installed today.

Yeah I'm not a fan of plastic end caps so I passed on them. They were going to have to be bolted on anyway.

I agree. Never was a fan of chrome, and the 4-section grills look too "Dodge" to me.

My earliest memories were me and dad bouncing around in the ole 85 runner so I'm very fond of the early look.

I do need an ARB but it will likely end up costing more than the whole truck did, so
That's a ways down the line.

I know what you mean! Some of my fondest memories are of my dad and I hunting and going to Scouting events in his old '87 S10. The Mule feels every way like that, but better, and spunkier.
