New gauge cluster for the FJ40 (1 Viewer)

Alrighty, been savin my pennies, and got permission for a bigger item cruiser purchase.... Its either this guage or Vintage AC.....

Whens the gauge gonna be ready, or should I just get AC??

Time for an update on the digital dash. I spoke with the boss and we will produce the dash this Spring. We actually finished the mechanical design last Fall but had to put things aside for the economic recovery of the core business. I'm sure it will be a couple months. Thanks.

Good to hear you are getting closer. So am I to needing one.

Is the entire unit one enclosed piece? Or do we have to supply our own metal face? What are the connectors, for those of us in the wiring stage now?

Blue and Red lights? Or is it either Blue OR Red lights?
How thick? The older trucks have to cut out some of the dash support for the large face VDO speedo/tach.
Ambient temp would be nice if you can squeeze it in (maybe with a max/min).
Cost for TBI compatible?

Are you looking for guinea pigs?

It's a one piece assembly designed to fit in the standard metal faceplate that comes on the cruiser. The stock faceplate comes off very easy. There should be no metal cutting required, the depth of our assembly is just a bit more than the stock one. Red or Blue are the choices.
As far as adding a temp gauge, that would be nice but not much extra room in a stock panel.
Not sure what additional requirements there would be for TBI? Let me know what your thinking there.
As far as guinea pigs go, all the gauges have years of history, this is just a repackage job so I doubt it.

For the TBI we use Vss for the speedo and 'puter, no mechanical.
There are other gauge options, like air/fuel ratio that you could add for the TBI, but not necessary.

Your VSS signal will hook to our speedo. Here is a pic of what we will use to connect to the stock tranny, the short cable is required because of the e-brake obstruction. This sensor will also connect to other modern trannys.

I will want well the same thing but with a mileage odometer with or without account round turn kind VDO or another mark and then the remainder numerically as you presented to us: total and partial mileage (km/h) and measures, oil pressure, temperature (°C) and tension in 12volts
blue lighting is very well
it will use the connector of origin well?

I have news, it's good and bad. We aren't finished yet but we talk about what we need to finish everyday. There are some lighting issues that are currently slowing things down. The design is set but circuit boards have not been built yet. All I can say is sorry for the delay but we are still working on it. Thanks.
