Group 31 fits in my cruiser no problem. Far superior battery. Have to convert your cables to eyelets but it's worth it

Remember this thread is specifically about Costco batteries (which are now labeled Interstate as opposed to Kirkland). There is a difference between group # and fitment #. I believe the fitment code is specific to Costco.

Interstate makes group 31 as does everyone else. It's a truck battery. As in semi truck. Bigger, heavier duty, and cheap. And real threaded posts! Win!

With the babydick Toyota alternator everyone with a landcruiser should have a bigger battery.

Yes that is true, but I don't believe that battery is sold at Costco. Interstate makes a specific battery line for Costco (at least it is labeled that way)

Digging up an old thread... I purchased the costco/interstate battery "costco code" 1. The battery is 12" x 7 1/2" x 6" it fits perfectly length x width but is a little short. I built a custom hold down with a spacer that fills the 1" height gap.

The reason I went with this battery over the others was the extra 150 CCA and the 30 extra minutes of reserve.

Which one did you get? Which Costco/Interstate group code and version (AGM or regular acid)? I had the same problem with my group 27 DieHard Platinum so I found that I could put a 1" piece of wood underneath to shim it up to the proper height.

I tried to get a Costco battery. They didn't have my size and wouldn't order it for me.

I got the proper size in an ACDelco and I've been happy.
