As someone who regularly used the classifieds for years. This seems like an unnecessary change? It's clunkier / harder to visually scan and I fear will have less people using them as a result. Maybe give us the option to use the " classic mode" and the new, for those who like it. Old system worked fine for what it was. If it ain't broke....

So: My primary observations:

1. If you are posting ads you will need to spend a decent amount of time delimiting the parameters you want to engage.

2. This actually makes it harder for scammers to scam. ****huge win****

3. It makes ads more complex for people who aren’t tech savvy.

In actuality, this Classifieds system weeds out less tech savvy people. It is weeds the bottom dwellers who take advantage of a free system.

Gets rid of old people who have a hard time holding a phone.

4. I kinda like that this new Classifieds system makes people have to **astonishingly** work on their narrative to sell something.

Parameters of action and operation keep out the shïtbox flippers and part scammers and support those who can understand systems and logic.

I’m cool with this, so far.

I like it. As someone who uses the classifieds often, I feel this is an improvement in connecting buyers and sellers and the added features may keep the ads from turning into chitchat.

Would it be possible to add a feature/tag/filter for pick up only or willing to ship? That seems to be a question that pops up in 99% of the ads and not everyone has access or wants to deal with it.

Cool improvement. Finally got the option to filter the parts section by series back. It was incredibly frustrating this past month or two to scroll through hundreds of listings and 90% of them are the wrong series.

Nice update, keeping comments separated from the listing details is a huge improvement.

Would like to see a Jacks, Tools, Accessories category in Parts Classified. These items don't fit all that well into the current categories.

Can some location standardization be added? I tried filtering by CO, Colorado, and a CO zip code, and I got 3 different results.

I second this. I have bought and sold so many thing on Mud over the last 22yrs. Never had an issue, never got scammed or even close to scammed. The old system worked really well for me and my business. I don't use Facebook or Craigslist so for Land Cruisers, it was all Mud for me.

Guess if your not tech savvy you are unable understand vehicles made over forty years ago? I know they were full of complicated tech.

52 years owning my first Land Cruiser, so ya I'm old. Your comment about getting rid of old people also reminds me a title of Led Zeppelin song off their first album, "your time is gonna come". A album I bought when it was released in 1969. Still listen to on my old low tech auto equipment from the 60s, 70s and 80s.

This is so much better. SO much better! All the info we had to hunt and peck for in the past... location, price, etc. is now right in front of you.

all i've ever wanted was to be able to easily filter the classifieds by my model (100 series) and not have to sift through tons of old 40 series stuff that i have no interest in . the old filters worked great for this. i miss that

you mean, the Prefix filter that narrows to ONLY the 100-series Classifieds? The Filter drop-down is right there below "post ad"

Took me a couple seconds...and there is even a MAP at the bottom...

You can still do that. It's in the filters button on the right, not under the categories on the left.

OR, click the olive Model Number button, and what's viewed filters to JUST that model....and if you are in a specific section (Ie: Parts Classifieds or even more specific, Suspension) then it immediately filters within that section. The Filters dropdown helps filter even further....
