I'm wondering... shouldn't there be a rubber hose connecting the metal brake line that goes from the LSPV on the frame to the rear brake coupler which is on the axle? I would expect there to be a constant clanking when the axle goes up/down with the suspension?

Thanks in advance.

Yes. The hardline from LPSV should be on the frame rail connecting to a rubber line that goes from frame rail to the axle hardline

Uh, yeah... did the kit come like that????
The line looks like it is correct but should be routed along the frame with an additional flex line to the axle.

Thanks for the sanity check everyone. Yes the kit came like that. And I'm in the process of rigging up some brake line clamps, the old ones were rusted to pieces.

If only someone made a nice stainless steel replacement

We also have the OEM hoses in stock. Stock length and extended versions.
