Looking good man. Is that grey or brown interior?
It's grey. I have a lot of extra grey interior parts to use on this one too, although it doesn't need a lot. The dash has a big crack but it did come with a brand new cap. I need to get with @dnp about a carpet kit too.

That looks awesome Pat. Something about a clean stocker.
I agree, and I keep doing the mod thing on my trucks so this one is going to be different. Kinda where the name Little Red (Wagon) came from, because it is downright little looking with no lift and 31" tires. I really like it though

Plus "Little Red Wagon" reminds me of the ending of this Warner Bros cartoon with my all time fav, Daffy Duck

Pat, GREAT looking truck! (and I gotta tell ya, I like the laces out! Just adds something to it) I've got this same color-combo truck in a 62 that I'm getting ready to put on the market. Same tires/size, and after seeing this one, I may now have to turn them around!

Keep the photos coming...............

Here's a couple of pictures of the stainless trim on the window seals. I used a dremel buffing wheel and some polish. The correct polish is "stainless" - the white bar, but I can't find it so I used "emory" which is a heavier cut. My dremel wheels came from amazon for like $8/pack and are pretty wimpy so these combined with emory compound are about perfect. Buffing is super easy and really shines up stainless trim. It won't work on chrome but the trim around the windows is stainless so there is a lot to shine up.

Here is the polish set up

Looking good, brother! I like the white letters out, it looks classic 80's style.

Now, drive her on up for a visit! We can eat food, drink bourbon, and stare at trucks. And, Lil Red can make Louise jealous, and more anxious to get herself on the road.

Another first for me- the first time I have ever wanted the tiny stock mirrors over other choices, in this case the sweet Euro mirrors. I got the originals with the truck and they are super nice so back on they went. The inspiration goes to @wngrog, as he is rockin the same on his awesome blue 60.

I'm working at getting my old threads, as well as "never started" threads going.
Since I posted, my truck got renamed Granny Smith. I know, a Granny Smith apple is green, but my wife called her this enough times that the name stuck anyway. I pretty much just refer to her as Granny.
I'll start posting up work done on it, but here is a pretty current picture of Granny- polished up, and ready for a mall crawl.

I had the truck at stock height and 31" tires, but I am so used to everything I have on 33" or bigger, it drove me nuts. The real capper was our decision to take it to Solid Axle Summit- driving it to the San Juans from Michigan, wheeling, and driving back. Was time for some upgrades.

I ordered up a Dobinsons IMS lift from @samc2447 Northwest Design and Fabrication. I didn't do much with the rest of the driveline because it had already been baselined by the PO, as well as rotors and 4runner calipers- all of which had at most 1000 miles on it. We just replaced fluids an checked things over. I have a steering kit for it, but at the time it seemed tight (seemed) so we just greased it up.

Next up, the road trip to SAS 8. We had some fun. Iowa 80 truck stop was great.

We made North Platte Nebraska and stopped at the North 40 Chophouse. This place is unbelievable. The steaks are all sourced from Nebraska beef. We had amazing service and a great time. The owner even stopped by our table to welcome us and say hi.

You can even pick out your lobster. I cheaped out and went with shrimp, lol

Before we left North Platte, we stopped for a trip to the largest train switchyard in the U.S. That was awesome. We went up in the tower and watched them push cars over the hump. A controller switches the cars to end up on the proper train, pretty sweet. I could have stayed there all day.

Last stop before SAS was a trip to Red Rocks to see Joe Bonamassa in concert. We met our friends Ryan Cavazos (@CaptClose ) and his wife Martha and had a great time.

Solid Axle Summit was up next. Granny did amazing. I had one issue with vapor lock up over 12,000 feet. That was a tough one because the truck would idle, but not pull itself in low 1st gear. It was in a very steep spot with nowhere to turn off/around for about another 1/8 mile. I had to heel toe the pedal and feather the clutch to get it up there, but made it. It ran perfectly back down and everywhere under 12,000 feet!
