I thought we voted for Change?
GM also says it would begin repaying federal loans in 2012, though it might need more money in 2013 and 2014 if it needs to contribute to U.S. pension plans.
What bothers me is the very good chance that all non-american companies that compete with these struggling American companies, will end up being import taxed out the butt and will won't be able to afford the better vehicles.
GM, Ford, and Chrysler doesn't understand that we buy Toyotas, Nissans, BMWs...etc not because they are foreign but because they are higher quality vehicles.
Build higher quality vehicles we will buy them, it is really that simple. They need to get rid of the unions that control the workers, that would be a huge start.

I think I should tell my CC and Mortgage company to **** off and then tell the gubment I need a bailout.
Anybody think it will work for me?

I think I should tell my CC and Mortgage company to fxxx off and then tell the gubment I need a bailout.
Anybody think it will work for me?
agree completely...
I voted for more of the same, and got change.
you think things are bad now, wait till a company the size of, and with the brand recognition of gm bites the dust.
Absolute bull****. You may have voted for more of the same, and guess what, you got more of the same. Just this time it isn't the Industrial Military Complex feeding at the trough, but a different set of greedy fxxxs who care not a whit about the welfare of the nation and the people.
All the "conservatives" who bash "liberals" and vice versa are duped fools. It is all the same game, just whose turn up at the feeding station. Corporatism, (not at all to be misconstrued as an anti-big business term) has run amok.
The illusion of a two party system effectively divides and conquers the masses from assembling and taking control of the government. So long as you are convinced that there are just two teams, and you best pick one, you forget that the game is rigged and that the final score will always be the same.
