From Tuesday when I picked my rig back up. :)

Man, seriously - I'm so thankful I don't live near Tor or Onur - if either were the case, I'd be divorced (keep in mind, we getting married 5 May 15), broke, and sleeping in one of their garages...seriously. And - how friggin cool is Tor's sign?

And 30 min's away - I'll put you in my nightly prayers...you're going to need it. I'm not sure if we'll come in for an overnighter or possibly make it a long weekend. Either way - we'll definitely have to meet up for whatever and talk shop. Mel's a sharpshooter - a natural on both handguns and rifles. And yes, that's so HOT. About the only one she didn't like was the Sig 716 with a really LOUD break on it - but sold it and replacing it with the LWRC REPR. Not sure if you've ever handled one (LWRC) but probably one of the better handling platforms I've had the pleasure of owning.

Anyhoo - Mel's about as easygoing as they come (imagine, I'm the combative, intense, etc., etc., of the two of us, hehe). She loves the WC and will be happy to simply travel. I'll keep you posted on my dates. . .and be forewarned, I'm going to invite Onur & K to join in if it's a long weekend, woo hoo.

Ha...I'm actually glad its at least that far away..otherwise I'd be running there at lunch all the time. Tor is cool as all hell to (on top of being an effin wizard with TLC's).

i was going to say we need to see if we could get J to make his PNW trip with Andrea. May 5th wedding, very cool. Let me know when you'd be coming up here. More than welcome to stay with us...have a nice guest room at the ready...but if you're getting hitched on the 5th you might be looking for more private accommodations. ;) My 12yr old and 7yr old girls would be following Mel everywhere (both of them in unison when they saw the picture of you two "who's that!!!!, she's so pretty!!!" Very cute.)

My BIL has the LWRC (former Marine)....love that thing. Definitely a fan of piston driven (have the SCAR 17). 5.56 went DI, partially to save $. I was leaning towards the osprey for my .45...FNP 45 tactical.

Holy shat - you're a Marine? If so, this is what happens to Marines (force recon; several of those fxxxers ruining my property value, hehe) that spend too much time with me (pics, below: 1. Mel & the gang, normal mode. 2. Marine gone south to the rainbow. 3. Mel @ Zion last year - my personal Marine). Cody - The Ginger - PH recipient and all around great guy, despite being a Marine, lol. If this is your class of friends, we'll get along just fine.

I'm going cross-eyed and about to hit the rack. I'll PM you tomorrow or Friday to continue this conversation - tomorrow is my hell day, so more than likely Friday.

on the downside it's my brother in law who served (probably my biggest regret is not going into the military...played hockey through college - we're not known to be the sharpest tools in the shed)...., but definitely my class of friends.

On another note I think I still might fit in with your group, putting a face with a name.
