Need input on which tranny solenoid this is. (1 Viewer)

My shop has narrowed down the shifting issue to a bad solinoid. Can some one tell me which one this is.

I have a pict of the one he says needs to be replaced but can't figure out how to upload the image. I can email you guys the pict if someone can send me their email address.

The lc is not shifting into second and goes from first to third gear

What year and what model of transmission?Probably 91-92 MY? Doesn't look like A343F from 93-97.

Call dealer and ask them for a diagram with the solonoid # location on diagram. Solonoid # will give you of its function.

A442F for the first models FZJ80, A440F for the 91-92 FJ80.

You can find which transmission you have by looking on the data plate (sticker) on the inside edge of the driver's door below the latch, but if it is a 1993 FZJ80 it should be the A442F.

Post up a photo of the original solenoid for future reference.
