I need one of these fans but I’m not able to identify year and model. The picture is of a 76 2F but I don’t thing it is the factory fan blade. Is there a Land Cruiser guru that can help?

Specs: 18” in dia.
Fan clutch type
Blades are flush with the front of the fan clutch
Blades have vortex tips on them.

Looks like a " fan clutch " style fan to me....from a 60 series....

Looks like a standard-issue, clutch type 7 blade fan from a 77 and newer application. Should be readily available, tho those extra "vortex tips" may or may not be present.

Fan blade from a fj60 should work too. I think Kurt had a couple he was looking to blow out cheap. Check his thread in the fs section.

;)

Bumped his thread to make it easier to find.;)

Do the vortex tips make it year specific or is it any 60 series?

The tips are important, my hope is that they will make it more efficient then without.

I posted on Kurt FS post. Thanks for the lead/bump

This fan is from an FJ40 1979-84 with Factory A/C, The extra blades draw more air into and through the a/c condenser and radiator. There are loud if you have a new or good clutch that hooks up well. They are still available from Dealer. Also for the 60 and possibly 62 series.

Best,

Shane
