Need A Pic of How Rear Seat Release Handle Mounts

Trying to put the handle and cable back on for releasing the rear seat and having some challenging moments...

I think lever needs to point down? But it seems like I would have re-wrap the cable end to do that?

Here's my 69, lever's up.

Thank you sir, on my '74 there is a lever on the passenger side that connects to a cable that runs under the seat bottom to release seat bottom so it can tilt up.
It is right inside door opening, towards bottom part of the curve.

I guess the older ones don't have that lever. Mine just tilts on it's own.

That is the way I as thinking it would go, I just don't have enough throw on the cable to fully deploy that locking pin on the latch.

I guess I need to shorten up the cable at the lever...

do you have the clips that route it under the floormat. they make it kind of swoop across the floor instead of cutting straight over the handle

Yes, it looks like two fixed ends that clamp the cable ends, and then one kind-of "U" bracket that bolts down in the middle of the cable run.
It kind of makes an S shape...
