ive married mine but she rather sleep in the garage than with me.....Very nice accomplishment…I would love to sleep next to my Land Cruiser!
Lift, front discs and saginaw. It has not run in 25 years so there will be a fair amount if other stuff to do.what work are you doing on the 40?
BTDT. I did it on my first 40. Best mods ever. I was sort of on the fence about what to do with this truck because it is a bit of a survivor but someone had fitted some aftermarket springs and shackles qnd qlso cut the wheel wells. There is some rust in some difficult places and I think the F has a dropped valve...sooo wheeling rig it is.You will really like the front disks and Saginaw PS.
Yep. Born in NOVA. Spent many years in Newport News (HS & college & some work). Also lived in Bristol 3 years. I have moved 14 times all around the country/world.I have the same Toyota clock in my shop. Did you live in Virginia at some point?
You on fiber I guess?Glad that you have it solved. For the hell of it I found this for the iPad …the desktop blows this out of the water

I installed LocoM2s a few years ago to get internet from the house to the shop. They were a PITA to install. Instructions were worthless but I muddled through by watching youtube videos. I'd previously tried a pre-configured system but could never get it to work. It's worked great since but I was worried it had gone out a few days ago and was dreading having to figure it out all over again. Fortunately a series of turning each end off/on got it working again.Ok so I used Ubiquity stuff to shoot wifi across the property. The two antennas are NanoStation Locos. Then inside the building is a Unifi AC Mesh UAP-AC-M as an access point. They were a royal paint to configure. I am sure if I had an idea what I was doing it may have been easier but there were no decent instructions and it really required (at least for me) two computers to be sure they were talking.
Here is the Nano on the shop. The other one is temporarily on a windowsill at the house plugged into the router/modem until I can run som Cat6 through the wall and mount it outside my home office.

The POEs are linked with a jumper. Kinda messy but I strapped it all together to try to neaten it up a little.

I had nothing inside the faraday-shop before. While I was finishing up I had two laptops streaming music and video, a tv on youtube and a phone linked. I'll take it!

My experience too. Youtube was helpful but I chaulked it all up to magic once it suddenly all started working. The Unifi AP was far more difficult than the Locos.I installed LocoM2s a few years ago to get internet from the house to the shop. They were a PITA to install.
