Updating this thread with what has gone on this week. The 1FZ is on the way to California. The buyer is 10 miles from where my Troopy came from.

I was finally able to load the engine on the engine stand and started to tear into it. The intake was clean.

Clean that sucker out. Thats what it looks like inside. Also replace that fitting.

Muriatic acid wash for the block. Clean all of that cooling jacket. You don’t want that shït in your cooling and HVAC system.
