This Icon is just simply bad-ass...no doubt.

One thing I find funny about the Icon and JW is that he seems enamored about the "Polyurea" coating on the inside....

The word Polyurea is derived from the Greek words πολυ- - poly- meaning "many"; and ουρίας - oûron meaning "to urinate". The latter term refers to the substance urea, found in urine, rather than urine itself. Urea or carbamide is an organic compound with the chemical formula (NH2)2CO.

I think he should change his sales tactic and just call it a PolyCarbamide coating....maybe more 'Mudders would look at the coating as a possibility for their builds :)

Just bustin ya chops....bad ass ride - irregardless of the urea on the floor :)

Icon does amazingly nice work. Great detailed pictures. I thought my Shark Gauges were nice until I saw this. I am going to have to emulate the suspension.

This is pretty awesome. just sayin.

I just have my manservant do the de-misting; couldn't be bothered to know the details myself.

:grinpimp:
Now that's some funny s***. :D

Awesome, for sure.

A couple comments:

Read the Optima battery thread on the chat forum and make them swap it out for an Odyssey before it is delivered to you.

I'm not so sure about the LED lights. I'm pretty sure that upgraded Halogens or HIDs will throw light further down the road than those. It doesn't matter how many 5w LEDs you gang together, the light doesn't go any further.

I'm surprised their shop is not as clean and pretty as their cruisers. :meh:

those LED lights are killer, way nicer then any halogen. just expensive. and dont forget they are DOT now too.

great build, this thing is killer

What a good looking landcruiser!!

If you could...

I am really interested in your AC setup, can you take some close up pics of it, the box sitting right under the glovebox and how the hoses run through the firewall?

I would greatly appreciate it!!!

Apologies in the delay.

Below are some pics I took.

Tight spot - Tough for me get anything much better.

Again - Apologies for the delay,... & probably for not getting exactly what you were wanting.

Cheers!

Is this ICON in Seattle?

If it is, I took a picture of it parked behind my dentist's office last December. Now I'm digging around for the pictures.

Wow. When I saw it, I said to my wife "honey, I'm almost certain I just read a thread about the guy who had this bad boy built. See it is a special color blend, isn't that cool?!". Her response was "is your 40 going to look like that?". Me "uh, no".

As someone who has seen this rig in person, I can attest to the obscene detail ICON is known for. Truly an amazing rig.

Picture... CLK, I'm headed to Seattle in about a month and I would love to take a look at it again if you're available.

I'm in Seattle a lot, hope to see it around some day. Seattle's a big place but you never know. I was headed there a couple of weeks ago and saw a nice 40 at a stop light under the freeway in Tacoma. I guessed right, it was Duke with his RTT.
