Got heater switches fro Japan, seat heaters from Amazon and new leather. Man, there are a lot of hog rings in these seats!

I currently have the passenger seat stripped down and am getting ready to install the heating elements and the back lines up with the seams well enough but the seat cushion seams, not so much... I am trying to figure out if I can cut into the heating element without an issue or if I want to shorten up the heater some.

anyway here are some pictures of the progress.

My lowers looked the same. I steamed them and that restored all fluff except where it is broken apart on the side. I cut that out and glued in some of my own foam. I then cut it to shape... I used the same seat heaters and you can trim them with out an issue from what I read and experienced.

REdoing the front seats was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. there is a fellow down the street from me that steamed my seats, repaired the foam and added a couple of nice touches while the foam was out. no pictures of installing the heaters. but they are in there. I went with a perf center section in hopes that it would be a bit cooler in the summer and that the heating might be a little better in the winter as well as softer.

That looks good, I added some padding to mine also especially in the back. I think you did a bit more and that looks like it was way cheaper than buying a new lower foam. I am making some terry cloth seat pull over covers. I use them alot in my taco and it saves my seats a lot of cleaning, as they just get washed with towels.

thanks, I thought it came out surprisingly good, it cost me 100 per seat to have them steamed and repaired.
