I've been seeing it for a while sitting in the field near a house about 35mi from my home... 3 days after telling my dad i wanted to go talk to the guy that had it in his yard, i saw it on FaceBook marketplace for sale... i knew for sure it was the one because of the hideous primer gray paint that was poorly done.
went and looked at it that day and drove it home yesturday...
paid $1800. might have been a little steep for the exterior but i considered it to have low miles
Buying it i had a hunch it was going to need an alternator which wasn't charging at all... the vehicle has been sitting for 5 months
he noted it needed some tlc but that it runs and drives...
list of things i have found that it needs:
Maintenance (all over)
Oil Leaks
horrible clunk when you put it in drive or let off the gas pedal
birf's click while turning (going to rebuild front end with new drive flanges)
needs stripped and painted.... has bondo all over... not sure what ill find under it but it is starting to come off on its own none the less....
