Look cool!!!! how much should a guy budget for an exhaust?

Im not sure....If im remembering right I paid $250 (or was it $350?) for all of the work, the pipe, the glass pack, and they did 3" all the way out from the headers...I was very very pleased with their work. As soon as I go out to my painters Ill get some complete photo's of the setup

In the mean time heres a video.

Nice video, exhaust sounds good and nice flex as well. But I must say that my favorite part is about 1:55 in, that guy has some sweet dance moves, still not to sure about the deer though. Good job on the rig, looking forward to seeing it after paints done.

yea that would be my little bro busting those sweet dance moves...it had tons more room to flex up front...but it would have tucked the rear fender...once I get bump stops ill take it back to the forklift and go as high as I can without getting too tipsy.

Are you going to run an 8 inch bump stop? If so let me know how that goes for you. And what does it look like you will have to run up front? I have the same lift you do...no shackle reversal and the same tires. I have cut fenders and quarters right now but I am putting new ones back on there. I would like to see your results. Thanks. And great work, its nice to track your thread.

Matt,

I dont plan to put any bumpstops up front....I probably could have taken the forlk lift a foot higher before the tires would rub in the fenders...

Mike (he's on the forum) and is doing an awesome 4 link setup on his 78....he has some custom 4" bumpstops that im gonna try throwing at it combined with a 4 in rubber stop if I can find something like that.

Are you going to do anything with those axle u-bolts, or is this going to be a mall cruiser:D

Hahah definately not a mall cruiser. I live too close to Moab for it to be a mall cruiser!

what do you mean abou the ubolts? I got them new from MAF and they seemed pretty beefy to me....then again all of the other vehicles I get to look under are Heeps and we all know that that isnt a good base for comparison :D

I think he is talking about a ubolt flip to get them out of the way of rocks. when I replaced my rear ubolts the nuts/threads were destroyed on rocks I had to cut them off with a hack saw.

Matthew

Yeah I have looked at it too. I had an extra set of regular ubolts so I put them on when I replaced the rear springs...its something I will fix when the nuts and thread are beyond gone or I need to get them apart for some reason.
