Did I say top 5 trucks on IH8mud? OK so its top 2 for 60 series anyway. Def the nicest poo brown which is my FAV. I love the front fenders chop. Im thinking about doing something similar to my SOA BJ60. Keep up the great work.

OK, I haven't posted much in awhile, so.. here we go... back on track,

Had a few Major screw ups to fix for things to go forward. First of three was in my planning for the rear seat in this thing, mock up was done without seat foams ! A Big NO NO !! And for me a 60 with out a fold down seat just does not work. I need room for some friends in this one and to be able to put my tools cases in for work.
Second screw up was when I did my rear dog legs I had not fitted With the door seals ! DUH !!

So here we go, I can't believe I have to cut up the floor and dog legs, but it is was it is, so. They say we learn the most out of our screw ups, eh.

Well... :bang::bang: :censor: :bang::bang: The I scraped a run I had on the hood, the fast way !!

Ah shoot, gone need a ......

The one I had made Is not gonna work, thought I would use an ARB one I have here but its gonna stay on a 62 I have, as I think I sold it to a good friend off mine. So...

Sent Beno a mail for some door locks so I can finish the doors,Headlight switch (24V),then gonna pretty much just leave the interior and a roof rack and so on.

Oh and, does anyone know where to get those air filter thingy's for the snorkel??

OK, I have been side tracked a lot lately, between waiting on some parts to botton up a few ends.

New batteries, dimmer switch to finish the electrical, a key lock set which would work all on one key. Funny, I have three 60 rigs here for parts and could not pick a working set. Kinda needs some locks to finish up the doors? well, in all this waiting for some stuff to come in, I good friend of mine decided to take off my hands a Beautiful FJ62 I have been hoarding for awhile. This makes me happy as it's gonna free up some room in my shop and he is one hell of a fabricator who owns a metal fab shop.. ( can you say custom parts ! ) More about him later....

The rig is a 1989 fj62 with almost no rust .(can't believe I'm letting it go, but....) From I think, AZ ?? Maybe someone will know ??
It was offered to me without a tranny ( A440 ) and a few minor things to put here back to her glory..

The rig..

As she was when she showed up..
At the time thinking I would pull all the ARB stuff to put on my 60 ?

So it needs a tranny ? Knowing an A440 is not the best option I decided to pill a bunch of parts from my stash for his H55 conversion.
( Thanks to Mud ! )

Parts picked from an FJ60 ( early ) BJ70 ( tranny ) Still need a few things and some updated parts you say... More later......

Anyways,

There goes a weekend.(not complaining )

Again while waiting for some parts prices and info on stuff missing, cruising threw some ads, low and behold.....:grinpimp:

a fresh HJ 60 with an H55 in her :bounce::bounce:

Guess what I did this weekend ?

Now my problem of a dimmer, edic, key lock set ( All work ) any many other parts is solved ! PLUS I now have a spare 2H and all 24 volt electrical !!

:bounce2::bounce::bounce2::bounce::hillbilly::hillbilly:

But she is in bad, bad shape body wise. Welcome to the rust belt...

The best part for me is the engine and all 24v stufff, and my friend will now get the tranny and parts for his conversion, !! :steer:
