Stunning Ralph-I love these rigs stock and it appears that you have gone to great lengths to keep it so. Nice attention to detail.:)

Great pics!!!!!!!!!!

My first FJ40 arrived yesterday. I just got back from morning drive to the river.
1976 that is mostly stock. Future upgrades include power steering and air conditioning.

Beautiful rig! Hope you enjoy it, if it's even half as fun as my new one has been you'll be in good shape!!

Nice rig. We also own a '76 but the mirrors are way different stock. Can you mount '78 mirrors on a '76??

My ‘76 now.
Color is not OEM. PO used a gold with a little metal flake and a clear coat. Clear coat is peeling so I get to repaint it eventually. Back to OEM 532

Shiny or flat:

Some of these rigs yellow... assuming it is the correct color code... seem glossy while others seem more flat.

Which is correct from the factory per se...?

Here is mine

I'm not sure if this captures the flat, but this is right after an oven cleaner strip where I think it looks flat.
And this is after a boiled linseed rub down.
