Hear you there.

Put 14oz in the KM2/TRS on the FJC, and not enough.

Conventionally balanced the Krawlers on TRS on the 80 and regret. Think I'm going to pull the Monster Valves and dump 16oz of Airsofts or break a bead and use two golf balls.

Do the pellets fit thru the valves? That is something to consider...

Yes.

Would have to unbolt, but there's only a bit of thread sealant maintains the seal, so wouldn't be too big of a problem.

Golf balls would not, but hope it doesn't come to that.

Yup, that would work. Way better than the first time I used Balance Beads and fed them through the stem, that sucked too much time out of my life and won't do again...

80's drive great in 2wd> they feel more responsive in both the steering and acceleration. wish i had some hubs like yours, you've got a terrific build going on there, keep it up.

Great work so far! What are you using for carpet replacement?

Wish I had known you needed carpet Jerry.

I just junked the one from my parts truck and it was in excellent condition.

I would have just given it to you.

Looking really good! I'm jealous of your tires... I've been looking for a set for months.

Wait a minute, am I reading this right!?!?!?

Y'all use air soft beads to balance tires?

I ponied up and ordered some Lizard Skin CL for under the carpet. After reviewing some current and old threads, I'm going for the "easier" application. I found a ebay site offering over $100 saving than the usual retailers on 4 gal + the spray kit ($345 shipped), in line with those using Dynamat and such.

I'm just going to scuff the surface with a wire wheel and vacuum before masking but it won't arrive until next week, maybe the leather from Shane will show up before then...

Nice build! Why havent I seen this thread before? Must have been under a rock for a bit...
