Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

man talk about getting lucky haha...
EDIT: was it listed as a Heritage trim?

ok now flip it on BAT for 50K more..? LOL
It was just listed as White with Black interior, no pictures, but it had the VIN displayed, so I was able to check and verify it was an HE. I placed a deposit, got pictures, including underneath, while they put it on the lift; a video walkaround; a copy of the CarFax; and said, "I'll take it!" without hesitation.

Every now and then if you watch the car listing sites like a hawk you can find a reasonably good deal on these. You have to pounce quick though as often times they either sell or the price is increased. Case in point there was a silver Heritage Edition with 45k or so miles, looked to be a clean truck. Dealer was Chicago Motorcars. They had it listed for $84k for a day. When I checked the next day they raised their ask to $99k. It sold a couple days later. I had a ZIP code list covering 250-mile rings of the entire country and would run it several times a day for

Yes. I was searching multiple times a day. I had a ZIP code list that covered 250 mile rings across the entire country to check against the Toyota Certified Pre-Owned website, Cars.com, Carfax, and others. I missed out on 4-5 that had been sold by the time I called but happened to be first in line for the one I got.

It is not that hard. Look at this.

Just be careful because there are absolutely fraudulent listings out there trying to steal "deposits" from people. I came across a couple.

Black Heritage - FRAUD

Here is the BaT listing with the same photos when it sold for $96K and this absolute fraud is offering it for $72K

They sold it at the original listing price. I called to try to buy it, and they had already taken a deposit. I think they raised the price just to reduce the number of inquiries until they finalized the deal.

Yes. I don’t even bother looking at these tiny car lots.
I would rather miss out on a deal than get ripped off for deposits. Always good the VIN to see what other sites it has previously showed up on.

Oh yeah. Goes without saying. You definitely need to have diligence and be careful. Does not look like the case for that listing I pasted, but would-be buyers should always check the carfax, undercarriage, previous owners, on and on. My point is if you want one and don't care for having delivery miles, it is not THAT hard to find, and you probably do not HAVE to submit to those BAT price-vacuum dimension.

na.,...its super easy to put a 'pending' banner on it.
no need to screw with the price.
they are/were up to something.....

Well, I never said it was a wise decision !

The man was asking, and I gave an option. What happens after that ... Well, dunno ! 😂

Sure they will, but at what cost when they pretty much dominate this market. Paying outrageous cost for coverage on a rarity car is one thing, but doing so for coverage on a 200 would suck.

Nori? Says Kakhi in the ad.
I don't know why but some call it Terrane Khaki M.M when it is really Nori Green. Interior says gray but is really Ocher/Gray Roof.

If you plug the VIN into Lexus it will give the correct build.

It posted with no price so I was hoping Mid $70k's to jump on it but at $83k I'll leave it to the person who will pay 7-10k more for that special color combo.

I kinda wish it had 100,000 miles so it wouldn't appeal to collector money.

Terrane Khaki M.M.

Terrane Khaki M.M. - All Available Colors

I think certain international markets used this name for Nori Green. It pops up in some literature and part number descriptions.

I had no idea the Nori would be Terrane Khaki in other markets. It is definetly a thing with Lexus. The 700HOT in "Earth" for the US is called "Moon Desert" in foreign markets.

If the color is right and with those miles, act FAST or I may pull the trigger and buy it  . It is a very rare combo with such low miles. $80k seems pretty reasonable.

Is the color really that rare? That money will get you a 2021 LC with the same or fewer miles and the LXs trade at a $10k or so discount.

Lot of cash for a color way.

It is rare in the LX570 but common in the LX600 or the LX700HOT. At that price a LX600 is cheaper and in a few years the used OverTrail will be the same price.
True for the 600. Not sure for the 700OT. I do not see the 700OT dropping to $80k territory any time before 8 to 10 years from now.
