Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

If this looks as good in person, I would say its a great deal.
I’d give this a thumbs up for a good deal if it looks clean. Does seem like we’ve had a bit of a stutter in volume, not a lot of inventory coming up. The higher priced listings just sitting Out there.

FL car so as usual check for flood damage. Whole state now seems to be more flood risk now.

I think the folks who said “I would sell at these prices” have stopped listing them for sale and we are back to more normal market flow.

Seems now, mostly regular not necessarily Cruiser folks that owned one for the past X years trading them in at their usual rate.

Definitely noticed a decrease in pre owned listings lately. Folks still paying exorbitant prices ($100k and up) for low mileage, late model years. Kind of discouraging…

Hey folks, I’m new here. I’m looking to get into my first lux cruiser. I found a local 1 owner 2011 MY with 30k, asking for $44k.
Sounds like the right number.
However also wondering whether I should wait a bit longer for a later MY one, maybe 15?
Any suggestion?

A 12 year old car that's been sitting may get you into additional maintenance costs.

I would take that $44k and find a newer model year that's actually been driven.

Happy hunting!

Hey guys, Happy Monday.

Going to check this LX out later this afternoon and wanted to get some yay or nay on this deal from people in here. The service history and the fact it is certified makes me believe this is a decent deal if I can get an additional $1500 off maybe $2000 on a good deal from ask.

Let me know ya'll.

Figured I would put this here for those looking. On paper this thing is perfect. The pictures leave a lot to be desired for $50k in my opinion. Mainly the issues with the front hood ppf and the scratches on the drivers rear door.

Paid $48K for a 2013 LC with 69K miles in Maryland - single owner, rust free, and full dealer service history. Perhaps could have been had for less but it was local so pulled the trigger.

Well I officially joined the 200 crew. 2021 Grey/Terra with 32k miles, Ed Martin built with ARB onboard air, rear air bags, CarPlay, LRA 12.5 gal tank, BudBuilt skids, 1" spacers in the front, and other misc stuff like PPF and chrome delete. I paid $92.5k. My rationale (confirmed by a few here) was that it's a high 80's truck sans mods and paying for 25% of the mods seemed fair since they were done by a reputable shop (that and I was going to do a few of them right off the bat anyway).

I'm sure some will say I overpaid, but the fact of the matter is that this is a long term purchase and I don't care so much about a couple thousand bucks in the grand scheme of this purchase. It was exactly the kind of mild "build" I was looking for and I couldn't be happier!

Pics of the first real wash after the drive home and with her stablemate:
