Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

Nice find. While it still leaves everything up in the air / to speculation regarding the LC’s return to the states this has to be the most concrete bit of info anyone has provided so far. It does make me wonder why that thing is
over here. 🤔
More than likely Government use. We have special operators train with vehicles they'll use overseas. This one is probably getting up armored and used for some spec ops unit to bash the crap out of.

It is coming back...it's Toyota's flagship. It makes no sense for it NOT to come back. The only question is timing...

It's toyota's flagship OVERSEAS. Most American's won't pay 80k+ for the toyota label.

Its sales were dwarfed by the Sequoia, 4 Runner, Tundra.

On this forum people "want" it to come back.

95% of Americans cannot even tell you what a Land Cruiser is.

Ahhh I forgot about that. That’s exactly how Doug Demuro was able to review one.

When it's spotted being crash tested I will be more convinced. Otherwise, it was likely temporarily imported by a foreigner for show, travel, racing or to be upfitted.

If Toyota decides to manufacture the LC300 for the US the VIN plate will also state that the vehicle is US compliant.

Edit: Given that this LC300 has manufacturer plates it could be temporarily imported by Toyota or by a registered vehicle modifier.

I get it, you have a '21, you don't want it coming back. 😉 But it IS coming back...it's not all about sales, it's about keeping the enthusiast base happy. Toyota has several models that don't particularly sell well, but they sell them anyway because branding matters, whether it should or not.

Why do you put "want" in quotation marks? That indicates you don't really believe people on this forum want it to come back...are you just talking about yourself cause I think it's safe to say that people on this forum do in fact want it to come back.

"But late last year Toyota Motor North America Executive Vice President of Sales Jack Hollis hinted that the legendarily tough truck might have unfinished business on the continent. “Will we ever? I would say likely yes,” he replied when asked by Motor Trend if Toyota would ever bring the Land Cruiser back to U.S. showrooms."

So there was one FJ Cruiser sale for 2021? Wonder what that was about? Barn Find at some small dealership in Arkansas?

I'd love for it to come back honestly. But 3711 LC's sold in 2021. The nameplate may return, but not in the vehicle we recognize today.

If i could get 20mpg in a factory LC I'd get rid of my 21 HE in a heartbeat.

Ok, back to purchase prices. What is the consensus here on fair value for super low mileage HE’s? I’m talking 1k miles or less. I’m looking at a couple such examples. Personally I’d be willing to throw a little extra but I’m only thinking around $100k…

Ok guys, getting serious now about this 2016 LC200 White with black interior. Roughly 70K miles and after negotiation with the dealer, I am at $56K before TTL. Roughly around $60K OTD.

Going later today to do a more in-depth test drive and inspection.

Killer deal? Average? Not that great?

Assuming it is clean and has no issues or things in need of immediate repair I think that's a fair price.

It's beyond me that someone is willing to spend $100k on a low mile LC. Mileage premiums on LC make zero sense to me because they do not age. Find a 20-30k one and pay 85-90k. Unless you just have 15k burning a hole in your pocket.....

To your question. 1k mile ones are LISTED for well over 100k...

I paid the same price 2 years ago, same year/79k miles.

If you like it, buy it!

I found one with supposedly only 64 miles on it. Dealer took it in on auction and is waiting for it to arrive to send me photos. They are asking $110k but I was considering offering them $100. If everything checks out I figure it's as close as possible to getting a brand new one while adjusting for inflation. There are a couple more with less than 1k miles listed on Auto Trader... one of which I have not bothered with because of how they worded the listing. The other is owned by nice couple from out in El Paso but they are being very firm on what they will let it go for. ($115k) I offered again $100k....

I hear your point about mileage being negligent (this applies to many Toyota products) but I also weigh other things such as overall condition of vehicle inside and out as well as trade value (if I have one), warranty, and logistics (I would rather pay a little more for the convenience and time saved not having to drive across the country or to have the vehicle delivered to me).

yes you have to pay taxes, but it’s on a private bill of sale, not the assessed value of the vehicle like Texas.
Yeah, I bought my 2000 for a killer deal, but tax office did some math and had to pay the tax on the market price! I think this is better because may have now learned to cheat the system so the gov started thinking... humm...

I feel ya! It just drives me nuts that people are trying to make 20-40k on a land cruiser! There are so few low mileage trucks, that it might be hard to convince someone to sell it for a measly 100k. GL in your search!

...and I'm not trying to make any money on the one I have for sale, and people are acting as if I'm trying to kick a family out of their house on a cold Winter day. Little whiny bitches come out of the wood work if they see a price they don't like.
