More turn signal trouble 83 FJ60

    I've read thru the "Blinker no Blinky, and the other two headlight switch threads here:

    High Beam Lights FIXED!! Finally!

    and

    Help - electrical issue.


    Got power to headlights and lamps with key off, wipers with key on, hazard lights working, replaced blinker relay, and popped the cover , cleaned contacts on the two switch boards in the switch itself.

    Was a full stop on turn signals, from working perfect, to no signals at all. Swapped out the relay module, checked the harness from the steering column, and checked fuse, tho i may have missed a relay if they route thru another one. All other dash lights still working.

    No relay "click" response on either new or old relays.

    Suggestions ?

    Hmm, zooming in on this pic from RockAuto, it appears there may be a contact on the bottom of the ball bearing detent opposite of the handle, that locks the signal on. had to zoom to see...
