The inverter went where the radio amp used to be - behind the glove box. My BlueSea fuse box is under the passenger seat, where the heater used to be.

I stole, I mean aquired two extra 12v recepticles from an Iraqi police edition cruiser. This is way cooler. ButI still want to put those in.
I put my 850/1600w inverter under the drivers seat, out of the way, and out of view, but easy to plug into the (3 prong) outlet, without having to run wire to a remote outlet

Both my laptop and video camera chargers are two prong so this wasn't an issue for me. You can modify the plug to accept a 3-prong.
Not soon enough.
And if you can't enjoy that song you probably aren't American.

The most important part of a 2 pong plug is it polarized. Take a look at the plug one side is larger then the other. The larger side is the neutral side letting your appliance cord only go in one way. Be aware of that if you go to a 3pong adapter if you get the plug reverse with the adapter you can have problems.
