I love watchin new guys get unstuck! You see things like aggressive pulling in reverse and retards standing right beside their winch line you know to stay away.

Around here we have a combination of rocks and mud. The bottomless swamp loon s*** claims a lot of victims but they dont learn and motor on right back into the hole they just spent 45 minutes getting out of. Thats when some of us screw off and play in the rocks then head back to see the s*** show.

Glad you got your case back together man!

Johnny, How long have you had the monstaliner on Moonshine? Would you recommend the monstaliner product? Thinking about spraying mine with this product.

Just went back to look and I put the Raptor Liner on in December of 2011, so 3.5 years ago. The Raptor Liner is holding up really well!!

The weakness of Raptor Liner is when a sharp crease is put in the underlying sheetmetal, or when the metal is repeatedly flexed. My tailgate has been the most beat up (dropping s*** on it, opening the tailgate onto a tall trailer hitch, etc.) and has a couple of spots where the Raptor Liner has popped off. All but one are smaller than a quarter.

Everywhere else on the truck is amazing. The Raptor Liner stands up really well and takes a pressure washing extremely well :)

Would you like me to get any specific pictures for you?

I've got a few pictures of it when I was there getting the transmission. Just wondering how well it was holding up. Thanks for the feedback.

Moonshine received some attention this weekend. Got a flex pipe installed in the exhaust so that the v-band clamp stops vibrating loose at the turbo, at least that's the idea.

It's nice to have a rattle free exhaust (for now).

Painted and wrapped downpipe since it was out:

Welded in the flex pipe and gave it a coat of paint:

Looks good Johnny, is that a regular muffler or a Aero Turbine one?

It's a regular flowmaster muffler. I was going to get an Aero Turbine muffler, but got this one for free! In hindsight, having the flowmaster allows me to keep the muffler above the frame, which is pretty nice.

Johnny, I lost the link to the site that you sent me on the body to frame bushings. Can you send that link to me again?

Thanks, Ryan

Moonshine does NOT need to get any bigger :)

EDIT though you were referencing a 2" BL for Moonshine.

I love driving this truck.

Took her up to some public un-maintained roads in NC/TN earlier this month.

In an effort to make highway driving (even) more enjoyable, I picked up some H2 rims so that I can properly copy @boots4 and @cruiser guy. I'l have some 35x12.50r17 highway tires (ATs) on here once these wear out.

Am I going to need to bore out the H2 rim to fit over the Dana 60 or 14b hubs?

I did not need to open up the rim center on mine to fit. They should be good to go. 35s will be very tow friendly.

Are you still towing?

Are you still towing?

Occasionally, yes. 35s as my highway tire will be quieter, drive nicer, balance easier, be lighter and overall more pleasant than these H1s. I should have slightly lower EGTs to boot.

I've loved the H1s, with the runflats and how cheap they are, but they're just not an ideal highway tire combo.

Johnny,

I have been driving Goss quite a bit lately and couldn't agree more with your comment. He is so fun and really have begin to second guess my idea of selling him....
