The run leader will update the run thread with all comms info and more details soon.

Look for more info on the 22nd.... Working out details currently

Dangit! I would totally join you guys again, but I will be in freaking Kansas 😕 Hopefully KP isn't offering his directions again to anyone. Last year I remember his advise led me to feeling like those lost kids from the movie Children of the Corn. Only it was night, and I was alone, lost, for several hours. :p

Well... this is officially an "adult" trip for me, kids are staying home with mom. 👯‍♂️

I'm sorry for party rocking! I was going to bring mine, it's just a lot of driving and not sure mine would enjoy this one/be on devices the whole time. But I'll still enjoy your little guys being around!

Does that mean that you are going to conduct yourself as an adult, ie: boring? 🤣
Ummm... I was thinking exactly the opposite!! Doesn't that make you want to come hang out for amateur hour!

Planning on bringing my 15 year old son - maybe even letting him do some of the off road driving for his first time; he'll be getting his learners permit soon anyway. My wife and daughter are heading up to the bay area to tour some colleges that weekend. Gonna bring the 'new' '97 with all its bells and whistles to see how it performs off road. Might do a little shakedown ride out to Anza Borrego this week or next to see how it handles compared to my '95; next week will probably be a cooler time to do that...

I've got to swap out the alternator this week sometime since, according to the previous owner, it's flakey and not maintaining the battery well, and he gave me a new Bosch to install. Maybe an early morning session under the hood before it gets too warm... People online seem to imply it can be done in a couple hours... we shall see.

I'm down for a mid-week Anza Borrego run whenever you are ready Bud! Still need to do a shakedown before the Mojave Road.

Sounds good Ted - new alternator installed, not too terrible of a job; just buttoning things up here now, starting to get hot out. But busy Wednesday and Thursday, so maybe Friday or after? Sounds like this heat wave is supposed to break on Sunday.

Alright so the 22nd came and went (😘 @Cruiser Bauers ). Trying to figure out my plans, may get to leave Thurs late afternoon, in which case I'd rendezvous w/ the Fri AM crew. There's that desert cleanup near Joshua Tree this same weekend, which is awesome since it may keep a few people off the trail haha... if anyone wants to head Thurs I was thinking of going through Joshua Tree on the way out.

So... Friday AM meetup location and time? Gas station (Circle K near Harvard, CA)? Camp Cady?
Fri night campsite? What time are we wheels up Sat morning (for those meeting Sat AM)?

Do we have a final count of who's coming and when?
