Tuesdays Progress
Today managed to finish all the welding for the SR and gussets at the front end. installed poly bushings and hung the front springs. Installed all the shackle pins and bolts, installed the SS extended front axel brake line and loosely installed the u-bolt flip for fit. Test fit the Ford shock towers.
The only difference from previous pics is that after talking with Steve of Man-A-Fre you cannot use the greasable spring pins at the front shackle of the SR they are not strong enough for the loads applied, so don't get the bright idea I thought I had about this

Front End and Ford Shock Tower Pics
Pics of Ford shock towers test fit. The only mistake I made was deciding to do these and cutting and fitting them for stock configuration
Luckily I did not drill or attach them to frame just cut interior fender
So now I have to open them a little further since the axel moved about 1.5-2" forward with the SR. Not bad just have to over cut a little. It will make my rubber mud flap a little larger now.

What caster shims did you go with? Are you doing double cardan at the t case with the diff pointed at it or running a regular shaft with the diff keeping a more stock orientation? Looks like the former.
Interested to see how it sits when you are done.

rover67, I am using steel 4* shims...Still waiting for them to arrive! Once I install the shims I am going to button it all up and see what else is needed. The jury is still out on drive shaft mods. Dave of 4+ just went to a lengthened spline DS and that's it. I am also looking at high steer systems but most of the high steer mfg don't know if their systems will work on SUA? The bottom line is I am going to flex the S*@t out of the front end and see what is needed both for DS and shock length. Luckily I have access to a suspension incline to test the articulation and score. It's going to be a work in progress. Once I get the 33" tires, I can also check axel bumpers and any rubbing from tires. Dave of 4+ has also indicated that even with 33" tires there is so much articulation that he still gets rubbing on them! I am going for max articulation so we will see....
Looks good! Maybe I missed it but who makes that U-bolt flip kit? Are the shims needed because of the amount of lift added by the SR and the lift or would you also need them with the 4" kit alone?

The SR & U-bolt flip are 4+ (Dave) sold at Man-A Fre. The total lift unladen will be closer to 5" and should settle down to about 4.5". With lifts at 4" and above (well any lift really) caster is going to be changed more negative. OEM specs are +-2*. I am installing new 4* steel shims I bought, most MFG's always stick aluminum shims in the suspension systems 
These will crush, corrode and break overtime (usually within a year). After all this redo I don't want to go back in to replace a $2.00 part! With the 4* shims this will push caster positive. If pushed a little more positive that's ok, tends to make road manners/ steering more pleasurable.

Today not As Productive
Well kinda stuck until the steel shims show up , must be shipped to Kalifornia thru China
Fought with the old OEM steering stabilizer eventually won, dry fit the OME stabilizer. Can't fully install due to severe angle on the relay rod. Went thru and torqued bolts cleaned up some of the engine bay and started assembly of body stuff. Included some minor pics.

Old grey gets a facelift
Well, it's startin to piss me off now, still no steel shims Luckily I have plenty of other items to keep forward motion on the build. Installed new radiator, cleaned up all the front grill and light bezels and blacked out everything, I like the look
Also installed stock bumper. Had to elongate holes in bumper bracket. You gain about 3/16" to 1/4" each side due to the SR hangers so your holes will not match now. Die grinder makes short work of that process. Really need to consider a new front bumper, maybe a 4+
Waiting for new 7 blade fan and radiator hose kit, the recurved Jim C. dizzy and of course the infamous steel shims...Tomorrow a friend comes over and we tear down the rear axel and install the new springs and goodies at the rear

Damn That's High
Well, got the rear end done yesterday with some help from a nephew. Man that thing sits high
The only problem I have encountered that was unexpected is that now my rear drive shaft is about 1/4" to long and at full compression May have to have the rear DS modified along with the front now. Rear hight to inner fender lip is now at 41-1/2" and that's on 31x10.50's! I'll gain another 1-1/2" when I go to 33's. Today I will finish the rear SS brake line install and check everything out once more measure for rear shocks then move back to the front to continue. Have pics for your enjoyment
