i think you have inspired me to do the same thing with my fj62 bandi. i cant say enough good things about your buildup. too many things to say. you do awesome work 
Well long time no post here. Thought I would resurrect this old thread for s***s and giggles Another successful desmog and resmog for the old waggy today! 212,000 on the original engine and drive train. Still blows clean! And people said you could not desmog and resmog with success 
This is my third cycle with the "Peoples Republic of Kalifornia" Luckily in the process of relo to a non-smog county soon. As a update, the suspension still is the best thing I have ever done! Still supple yet very road worthy, still my DD. No issues at all. Would do it all over again! I hear you can't get the suspension system anymore? That would be a shame if true. I think this system is/was the best one out there! Just never got enough exposure! I can crawl, I can go 75 over BIG bumps!
I have yet to bottom the system out, nut'n worn out, nut'n broke!
Been busy with 40 and spending most my time in that forum right now but occasional like to snipe in this forum

That is awesome that you were able to de/resmog your truck multiple times and to get the bastages in CA to pass it is a true testimate to these engines.

THX Yep TallBoy Carbon. My emergency vehicle in case the 40 or 60 stop in the back country. Yea it's a PITA but I know the smog system layout so well and just in case any CRS sets in I have the FSM to remind me
