I'm wondering how many of you guys are planning to come to Cruise Moab this year and what trails you plan on running. I'd really like to join you on a couple.

Hey Mike,
We had a brief Moab discussion at our winter meeting, and apparently none of us are making it out west this year for various reasons. We were pretty close to making condo reservations and everything just fell apart.
If I was going, Pritchett would be on the list for Thursday or Friday. The rest of the week would be sightseeing and fooling around on all the other trails. I would like to finish Behind The Rocks. We never got to the end in 2012 due to an injury/EMS/airlift situation.

Hey Jon!
Unfortunately Pritchett is not on the list of event runs this year so it would have to be a pre-event run. There are two new trails, one is more a sightseeing trail that is a little bit out of town and the other is The Pickle. I'm pretty sure Behind the Rocks is the most technical trail on the event list. Also, added last year and totally worth the effort is a wednesday night run. This year it is on Hell's Revenge, last year was Fins and Things.
I'm bummed to hear that as a group you are holding off another year but I can't blame you. If I was still in NC my rig would not be ready for the journey. Johnny C is also not ready for this event as well as any NC folks. I'll hold out for you guys all to come next year. But, if anyone decides to make the trip this year I currently have two bunk beds open in a cabin at Slickrock. I offered it to the NC boys first but no takers. $130 each bed for the week Sunday night through Saturday night.

What happened?

I'm still planning on going. guess I'll look for a hotel.

And here I was looking forward to seeing you guys.

I must have missed the announcement in the email list.

Like I said, we were close to making condo arrangements and everything just fell apart. From truck repair issues to work to family, everyone had something come up. I was the one trying to push this along and I even had Mark on board for this year, but it was not meant to be.
As for Pritchett Canyon, we would have run that on our own. Every other trail is sightseeing IMO.
