Anyone from TAC going to Cruise Moab in 2010? Here's a link: MOAB

I plan on attending again. BritKLR will take his own cruiser this year. We will be doing the overnighter.

The overnighter was for sure worth it. We went on last year's and will sign up for it again, as soon as the sign up opens up.

We did not stay in the Slickrock campground where the 'main' camp was last year, but instead stayed a mile up the road at a much better place, with way better facilities.

I think it will be a great change to be at the new place. We plan on leaving either the Saturday or Sunday before the Moab starts, and coming back the next Sunday, arriving back in KC on Monday. Caravaning would be great.

Right now it don't look like I am going. Sometime this spring or the first of summer Me and kitty are loading up the 60 and we are going to start heading west for a excursion thu out the us.

I'm going to CM again this year as well as Justin Tubb. I also have a good friend of mine who just built up a 4th Gen 4Runner and he will be joining us as well. That makes 3 rigs in our caravan. We are heading out the Sunday morning before and arriving in Moab on Monday afternoon if anyone wants to tag along.

The main staging area has changed for CM this year out at BFE. We have chosen to stay at the original Slickrock campground and have already reserved cabins. They only offer primitive camping at BFE. We would much rather have a place with warm showers and toilets after very long days on the trails. Plus we are going to be in Moab for a week. I'm sure we will be out at BFE quite a bit visiting everyone, we will just need to find a sober driver to get us back to slickrock! :)

MMMMMoab can't wait. Although I'll be rocking a different truck, should be a little more challenging on 33's!

1 month? Oh no!!

Only about a month away! :bounce:

Yeah and I only have a 700r4 to install, new driveshafts made, cross member made, new skid pan made, and all the other basic maintenance things before the trip out. The weather has not been good, and I have to work outside, so things have been stalled.

EDIT: The 700r4 should be straight forward, right? But here's the thing, the 5.7 was installed a tad high, so I either have to lower the engine somewhat or massage the tunnel for the 700r4/toybox to clear the tunnel. Then there are all the pieces that goes with that, such as the radiator shroud.

I also have both bumpers and the sliders in the garage, all sandblasted and ready to be painted. Then bolt all that back on. The weather just needs to be better.

That's great! Post some pics of it. What all you have left to do? You have lots of time to get ready!

lets see, I need to finish up the brakes, wire up the lights and turn signals, build roll cage, paint fenders and hood, finish rear bumper, get the front drive shaft lengthened, replace non- functioning gauges and I am sure I forgot something.

I'll snap a few pics of it tomorrow.

doesn't look like the weather is going to break for you this week :-(

I hear ya! If I can get BritKLR to get his junk out of his garage, maybe I can work on it there. I doubt he wants to get his wet though. :D:rolleyes:

I did think fo something last night... I could do a body lift to get some clearance... Lots of work though. Rusty bolts are never an easy quick job. May just have to keep the H55f till after Moab.

You have it about whipped!I look forward to pics. I miss having a 40.
