Can anyone with the two tone paint give a good close up of where the paint changes on the "A" pillar?

Thanks

Not much to report on, just finding a little rust and treating before filler and paint to pass inspection, then I'll get out and drive for a while.

Tease pick of my rattle can red spray job.

Been a long while since I've had a chance to look at the pig.

Found out why the rear glass has issues - me think it's not original.....

Also got to take the front dealer option bar off the front. I like the look, but maybe one day I'll put it back on.

Can someone please post a photo of the correct winding mechanism for the rear passenger windows?

Dan

Thanks Ron,

Do you happen to have a photo of the channel (that the glass sits in)?

According to villagetoyota 69903/69904

Thanks,
Dan

Here you go, but I'm not sure right now on which is which, both front and back. I can look in the shop tomorrow.

@scrapdaddy - thanks Ron, appreciate it.

@Ferntucky - there's a place here in OZ that does repro weatherstrip, I'll use that on the first door, see how it performs, and then commit to the other doors.

The rubber on the windscreen and rear quarters is in good condition.

The rear tailgate will be replaced with one from slo cruisers when I'm in the states at the end of the year.

Anyone know where the VIN is stamped on the chassis rail? I need to take it in for ID and cannot see where the VIN is currently - maybe there's too much paint? May need to grind it back a little to make it visible for the inspector?

Cheers

Should be up by the steering gear. Most people that do the p/s conversions notch out a window in there strength plate so they can still see it.

Thanks mate, I'll get the wire when'll onto that area today and have a look.
