Might as well introduce my GX

Well I dunno if this is really necessary but here I am. I am a long term NYC guy but now in LA for about 7yrs. Had many toyota's over the years and I seem to have gotten the Lexus bug. Just sold my RX330 a few months ago that was a SEMA car but back to earth now I have this modest beast.

I have done allot of little mods. Nothing special. No $$ haha. Right now I am surfing at allot of stuff for the GX. But it's been mostly maintenance stuff so far.

Welcome, that's a sharp GX! What year?

They ever have any GXs at SEMA? Curious what that would look like, I'm almost afraid of the blingtasticness :-)

IanB it's a 2006 fully loaded ML system Navi.

I do not remember seeing a GX. Yeah the GX is for me not a bling type of modded vehicle. Most are crazy lifted trucks and jeeps.

Nice, congrats! That's the opposite spectrum from your old ride to the new one. :D Lots of guys on here fixing these GX's up to there offroad potential. Let it begin!

That is easy. The iron man kit includes all the gaskets and such to make it air tight. The other waterproofing is all you (sealing distro, etc).

Good luck putting the bolts on the snorkel if you aren't a small person...VERY tight in the fender.

Seems very complex. I wonder if I will ever do this one. I love the idea of it though.

For me I personally REALLY would like to find stuff like sway bars, strut bars. Gain a bit more stability on the road. Intake, exhaust. See where it goes from there.

Oh of course maybe wheels.

Snorkel install involves cutting a big hole in the fender, and drilling into the A-pillar, not an easy one to reverse if you ever decided to sell. Looks badass, but not for everyone.
